Assembly of Turkish Student Associations-Washington D.C.
The Assembly of Turkish Student Associations in Washington, DC (ATSA-DC) is a non-profit, non-political, independent organization. The organization has undergone rapid development and expansion since its establishment. Over the years, ATSA-DC has emerged as an effective entity to voice the concerns of Turkish students and serves as a link between Turkish Student Associations and both governmental and non-governmental organizations. ATSA-DC maintains a positive reputation due to the increasing number of members and various social, cultural and highly educational activities. ATSA-DC’s purpose is to increase communication and cooperation between the students, the Turkish community and friends of Turkey. ATSA-DC acts as an umbrella organization for the member Turkish Student Associations in order to establish a strong Turkish community . In order to attain this goal, ATSA-DC will continue to strive in strengthening the ties between the Turkish community and all friends of Turkey through a variety of social, cultural, educational and charitable activities.
